DownWaste is proud to announce the successful completion of a state-of-the-art waste management system installation at the Konya Akören TOKI Residencies project. This social housing development comprises 12 residential blocks and now benefits from a system designed and installed to meet the latest TS13926 standards.


  • Automated Sorting and Hygiene: This includes automated lids, sorting mechanisms, and a combined brush disinfectant system with ventilation fans, promoting cleanliness and minimizing manual interaction.
  • User-Friendly Design: Self-closing hopper doors with D handles and press buttons for separate waste collection simplify the waste disposal process. Clear labels and signage on lids and control equipment provide easy-to-understand usage instructions and warnings.
  • Durable and Quiet System: The 500mm diameter, 1mm stainless steel chute system offers superior durability and performance. Additionally, 25mm Foiled Rockwool insulation effectively dampens noise generation for a quieter living environment.
  • Efficient Waste Management: The E-diverter sorts waste into two fractions, optimizing the overall waste management process. The 17-meter chute height ensures efficient disposal across all five floors.
